Bear Lake Impressions

This has been the best summer of my life because I have learned so much!  I've spent the summer in Bear Lake working like a maniac.  I have 2 jobs, and I'm in a play at Pickleville Playhouse.  I work constantly and I sleep hard.  I'm training for the Top Of Utah 1/2 marathon, and I love how healthy I feel.  I was guided to Bear Lake this summer and I know I was sent here for a reason I have learned so much!  The Lord know's me!! So here I go, this summer I learned...

1.  Sometimes lions chase us for a reason and steer us into the path that we need to take.(read The Horse and His Boy)
2. Getting stuck in a bathroom is a small thing... don't stress it!
3. How the wind blows and what winds are best for sailing.
4. We all have righteous desires but, sometimes we are not called.  Just because we are not called does not mean we are not worthy to do them.  It's just not our time yet, and if we are patient with the lord he will give us the chance to serve him.
5. The Gospel blesses our lives, and is a safeguard from SO many worldly afflictions.
6. My parents love me, and everything they ask of me is only for my safety. Even though it was a lot they asked I will never ever second guess them.  They are always right!  
7. How to make a bed with hospital corners, and how to fold towels quite nicely
8. How to DIVE!!!! 
9. how it feels to work all the time and to be exhausted but keep going.
10. Mental math!
11. The Lord knows me and knows what I need in my life, he sent me here to Bear Lake this summer and gave me the best friends I could ask for, Melanie Jordan, and Laycee are amazing! He promises that he will guide us and provide if we just have faith this summer has proved that to me 100 times over.
